The University of Pikeville (UPIKE) is actively seeking an IT Temporary Summer position to assist and alternate between our A/V Services and information Technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Conference and Event Services.
  • Coordinate with Information Technology Services.
  • Maintain and service A/V systems.
  • Maintain lecture capture.
  • Manage/Training of A/V team AV technicians, work-study, and interns.
  • Assume a leadership presence regarding professional appearance, energetic attitude and serve as a positive University representative.
  • Maintain, inventory, and properly clean all A/V equipment, utilizing best practices.
  • Secure Storage of all A/V equipment not in use appropriately in designated storage areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills:

  • Computer knowledge, i.e. Word, Excel, Social Media & New Technology & Printer Toner Installation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong active listening abilities.
  • Written & verbal communication.
  • Willingness to learn new things.
