IT Team Lead

In this role you will:

• Lead the operational delegation of Help Desk tickets and tasks within the IT department

• Review completed tasks to ensure quality and compliance standards

• Perform or delegate daily check list items for production environment

• Be there as a day-to-day advisor for the team and business and resolve technical gaps with advice and mentorship

• Ensure IT Manager’s prioritisations are performed across the team, in a co-ordinated and planned manner

• Ensure risks are noted to IT Manager assessments and initiate risk control strategies

• Support the IT manager in mentoring all team members

• Ensure team member training progress reports maintained

• Use technical knowledge to exemplify quality ticket closures and provide support to the business to achieve fast effective ticket closures

• Perform regular appraisal of team member’s performance and supporting improvement plans

• Ensure IT stock tracking and inventory management kept up to date and balance purchasing with j.i.t. provisioning

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have strong Azure, Office365, Veeam365, VMWare, Sharepoint and Microsoft Server version 2012+ knowledge

• Have the ability to script in PS or Python.

• Have a degree or comparable experience in IT

• Have experience leading and supporting team members with excellent communication

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at the same time and detailed approach towards problem solving.

• Excellent reporting and presentation skills.

• Ability to always pay attention to details and encourage team members

• Ability to take proactive steps in managing problems – anticipate outcomes and resolve them in advance.

• Security conscious with experience in ISO27001 compliance

• Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
