The IT Software Engineer for the B2B environment will support CNH Industrial’s Global Dealer community through our Dealer Portal web / mobile applications. This role will be involved in projects from the design and planning stages through implementation and support of the project. The IT Software Engineer will be responsible for managing the technical and functional designs and delivering solutions leveraging our technology platforms. Responsibilities:

The IT Software Engineer for the B2B environment will support CNH Industrial’s Global Dealer community through our Dealer Portal web / mobile applications. This role will be involved in projects from the design and planning stages through implementation and support of the project. The IT Software Engineer will be responsible for managing the technical and functional designs and delivering solutions leveraging our technology platforms.
- Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components throughout the software stack
- Apply the development & practice of technology standards, polices and principles
- Support projects by providing analysis, design, programming, and deployments
- Collaborate with development teams to gain & share skill/knowledge on development practices
- Identify process improvements and establish best practices
- Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management
- Determine root cause for the complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent solutions
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, code reviews, regression testing strategies and implementing changes in policies and procedures
- Participate in resource selection and scope of work development
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing content supply portfolio of applications and services
- Study new technologies and vendor packages; evaluate and make recommendations
Position Pays $109,000 to $167,000. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.)
- Bachleors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar and a minimum of 8 years of Full Stack Web Development experience
- Or
- A minimum of 13 years of Full Stack Web Development experience
- Potential for limited travel based on busisness needs
Full Stack Web Development experience includes but is not limited to:
- Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript, Web Service APIs, Responsive Web Designs, mobile web, Web Apps, etc.
- Experience managing full app lifecycle development from concept to delivery and go to market in an agile manner using a design led approach
- Federation Processes using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)
- Comprehension of IT infrastructure and application integration within complex system landscapes to/from SAP, MS Dynamics, mainframe, web portals, cloud architecture, REST web services, etc.
- Information Architecture experience to assist in the overall structure and layout of the solution
- User Experience (UX) design creating a strategy for content and features
