WHAT YOU'LL DO

The IT Security Engineer - Manager will:

• Participate in shaping operational capabilities and defining endpoint security strategy
• Drive implementation, innovation, and continuous improvement for BCG’s endpoint security services
• Carry out security operational activities
• Help to lead the endpoint security operational activities performed by MSPs and MSSPs
• Play an active role in ensuring the Confidentiality Integrity and Availability triad of BCG's assets
• Work closely with peers and colleagues across the Secure Infrastructure Platform tribe, Information Security, and IT Service teams to ensure that implementation and operations is aligned with standards and performs to high reliability and availability specifications

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Subject matter expertise (10+ years) with endpoint security tools and security architecture
• Strong familiarity (5+ years) with load balancers, reverse proxies, VPN, and SASE (Zscaler knowledge is a plus)
• Success deploying security policies with endpoint security tools like Microsoft Defender for Endpoints and FireEye
• Solid understanding of Palo Alto firewalls, WAFs, Web Gateways, and IPS
• Expertise in quickly identifying and remediating root cause
• Practical understanding with Agile, ITaaS, ITIL, monitoring, and metrics
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; command of additional languages will be considered a plus

The IT Security Engineer - Manager works closely with the Network, Hosting, Cloud Infrastructure, and Information Security and Risk Management teams to provide architectural and engineering expertise for BCG’s security initiatives and deliver operational excellence with our Endpoint Security and Network Security services. The IT Security Engineer - Manager is part of the Secure Devices squad in the Secure Infrastructure Platform tribe, which in turn is part of the Global Services arm of the Business Services Team at BCG.

BCG’s Business Services Team (BST) is the operational heart of our business and is invaluable to our success. Within BST, functions support Local offices and Regional jurisdictions. Global and centralized initiatives sit with Global Services (GS), a network of 1000 + professionals in 30 countries though the majority of GS staff sit in ‘hub’ cities e.g., Boston, Atlanta, New Delhi, London, Munich and Madrid.

Global Services (GS) consists of a varied range of functions providing corporate support of BCG's business and strategic priorities for example, Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, IT, Risk, Partner Services and more. This diverse team of experts, operators and specialists represent all levels from Partner to entry level Staff, operating across the globe in multiple countries.

Global Services rapid growth and expansion over the last few years has created a need for strong operations management, governance and leadership to better enable Global Services to support BCG’s world class Consulting & Knowledge and Analytics divisions. Global Services is in short the backbone of BCG and our ability grow apace with the other divisions and to continue to attract and develop top talent, directly impacts the entire Group.
