The IT Quality Assurance Tester works in a data-intensive environment with systems ranging from mainframe applications to ETL, to web-based tools, within an MS SQL/C#/.Net shop. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual ready to contribute to the strategy and process development for the QA group.

What is a day in the life at Flagship as an IT Quality Assurance Tester?

• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts
• Execute manual test cases and report test results
• Analyze tests with the goal of making them more efficient
• Make recommendations on acceptable risks in the application
• Assess the integrity of data
• Report on product quality and release readiness
• Develop and share ideas that will improve quality overall
• Assist with supporting and troubleshooting issues in test environments
• Contribute to strategy and process development for the team

About you:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimally 5 years of experience in Software & Data Quality Assurance
• Experience working in a continuous delivery environment desired
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment a plus
• Experience in testing back end systems with no user interface
• Experience with Test Automation Tools a plus
• Experience with Financial Services
• Experience testing Data Enterprise Data Warehouses
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and verbal communicator
• Collaborative, self-motivated, and able to work individually or in a group
• Adept in manual testing
• Adept in creating Test Summary and Defect Summary documentation
• Experience using Selenium with C# and/or White a plus
• Some programming experience in SQL
• Experience using Target Process a plus
• Experience using QA symphony (qTest) a plus

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
