IT Project Manager
The role we are currently searching for is IT Project Manager, located in Houston, TX in an onsite setting.
What will you be doing in this role:
- Managing multiple projects (Applications related)
- Oversee the entire project portfolio and provide dashboards to management on projects in flight, next in pipeline, dependencies between projects, risks, and issues
- Plan, initiate, and manage all aspects of the IT projects in the pipeline.
- Manages project resources and lead the team/s to achieve on-time delivery and resolve escalations.
- Will establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and provides them with program/project updates and recommendations
- Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of project, include planning project stages and assess business implications for all stages of project
- Ensures integration between business process requirements, current application environment and vendor software
- Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are me
What experience do you need to have to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree required
- PMP certification is required
- 8+ relevant experiences in Information Technology industry with at least 4+ in project management function.
- Must have experience managing Enterprise Applications projects– Custom Developed Applications, ERPs, etc.
- Finance domain business knowledge preferred
- Understanding of Agile Methodology must have
