SUMMARY

The purpose of the IT/Network Administrator is to support and maintain Computer Equipment and Software/Phones for multiple sites/locations (Moncure, NC, Biscoe NC, Rock Hill NC).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports the Day-to-day operation of all Information Systems and all IT Infrastructure including phone systems.
• Work with Corporate IT to maintain Internet, MPLS and other systems connected to our Wan.
• Maintains Servers (physical and virtual), routers, switches, fiber optics, LAN, Wan, Printers and copiers, and other in-house applications.
• Install and support corporate antivirus software and ensure deployment and functionality of any security utilities or patches deemed appropriate by corporate security.
• Create and maintain user accounts in a Microsoft Active Directory/Azure environment.
• Responsible for support and maintenance of application servers running MS SQL Server or another database.
• Support and Maintain ADP system for Payroll and lookups for accounting.
• Support Office 365, Windows 10/11 workstations, Windows Servers, and VMware environment.
• Maintains mill security camera system, NVR server, and any remote viewing stations and remote viewing software.
• Supports local phone system.
• Setup and support all company owned mobile devices and mobile applications (email, SAP Concur, MS Multifactor Authentication, etc.)
• Provide training for all new hardware and software that is used on site and perform network orientations for new hires at responsible sites.
• Responsible for maintaining server room environment (climate control systems, PDU, and backup power systems – generator and UPS’)
• Respond to IT requests through corporate IT helpdesk software and document all IT hardware/software changes
• Work with IT vendors and contractors for warranty hardware repairs, cabling, large installations or modifications effecting IT Infrastructure.
• Backup of all servers including phone’s and responsible for operation and maintenance of onsite and cloud corporate backup systems.
• Install, support, and maintain all information systems
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for all users when required
• Provide afterhours support by participating in after-hours on-call rotation
• Budgeting for new/used hardware and software and licenses
• Computer inventory supplies
• Phones systems, including mobile devices

REQUIREMENTS

• Computer troubleshooting knowledge and skills including MS active directory/Azure. Current Windows desktop and server operating systems, Cisco and HP switches, phone systems (mobile and landline).
• Working knowledge of VMWare ESXI environment operations and maintenance.
• Soft Skills: good written and verbal communication, dealing with frustrated customers internal and external, working as a team, able to work unsupervised, able to train/educate users of various skill levels.
• Able to keep up to date on new and emerging technologies.
• This job would be based out of the Moncure NC facility. Travel would be required to the Biscoe and Rock Hill sites as needed. Most support would be done remotely.
