IT Implementation Specialist Job at RAYUS Radiology
RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is currently looking for a Senior Implementation Specialist. This position provides a unique opportunity to join a recently formed department and energetic team that is creating and transforming how IT interacts with our stakeholders. This role has the option to be remote and is full-time, Monday-Friday.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the delivery of high quality, project management style documentation on new center implementation and business development objectives. Works closely with IT Project Management to ensure proper workflows and systems are defined for all new center and business development projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(75%) New Center and Business Development Implementation
- Provides guidance for the organization in regards to workflow and systems needed for both new and existing customers as well as processes for divestitures of clinics
- Defines the scope of the project in collaboration with the defined Project Manager
- Creates a detailed work plan for the Implementation and QA team which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Works with the Director of Operations Support and Project Manager to determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
- Reviews the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revises the schedule as required
- Understands clinic's business processes and helps guide the Implementation and QA team on system configurations based on clinic's business needs
- Plan and execute data migrations
- During system implementations, functions as the point person in the field for client inquiries concerning systems operation and troubleshoots and diagnoses system hardware, software and operator problems
- Helps coordinate large group user training via the internet and face-to-face settings on various system applications during new product implementations, upgrades or new center implementations
- Develops documentation and training plans for the roll-out of product upgrades, coordinating roll-outs with Operations Support
- Mentors QA and Implementation Specialists in training users in system setup, administration and maintenance
- Educates the Business Process and Technology teams on any system workflow changes
(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of system administration in order to work independently or in a lead role in implementations, training, and system enhancements
- Knowledge of IT/ business processes to act as subject matter expert, providing recommendations to larger project teams
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change
- Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks, frequent interruptions, and details with accuracy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- BS/BA Degree in an IT or healthcare related field or Associate's Degree and relevant system implementation experience
- 3-4 years healthcare implementation experience
- Familiarity and ease with computer systems and common software products
- Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance
- System implementation and/ or system training experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Requires use of office equipment, such as computer terminals, facsimile machines, telephone and copiers
- Requires sitting and computer related activities for extended periods of time
- Requires the ability to see, hear, walk, stand, reach, write and key
- Requires the ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
