IT Help Desk Analyst - Starts at $22-$26 per hour

We are currently in need of an entry/novice level Help Desk Analyst to provide technical support and assistance to employees using computer hardware, desktop applications, as well as printing or phone system hardware and software. This individual will be the first point of contact with end-users and will use critical thinking skills to deal with internal and external resources.

Primary Duties Include:

• Tier 1/Tier 2 end-user technical support for all local, remote and mobile users
• Proactively monitoring, analyzing, and diagnosing/troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Systematic Troubleshooting
• Report common hardware and software for issues that need resolutions to higher level
• Identify priority tickets / issues and escalate accordingly
• Maintain knowledge base articles for end user support and increased productivity
• New user training, setup and support
• Participate in planning and deployment of new /upgraded products and or special projects as required
• Some after hours support may be needed from time to time

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Positive customer service driven attitude; understanding of customer support in an IT context
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Software Deployment (SCCM), Microsoft Desktop Applications, Windows 10, etc;
• Understanding of networking, including TCP/IP, WINS, DNS

Preferred qualifications:

• Some coursework in computer science or related field
• Associates degree in computer science or related field
• 1 year of help desk experience
