IT/ERP Manager needed for our well-established, manufacturing & distribution company in the Libertyville/Grayslake area! Full-time, Direct-Hire position!

Duties of IT/ERP Manager:

• Oversee the company’s computer network
• Improve and maintain essential IT operations including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software and hardware
• Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
• Develop new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs Performs server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
• Create rational strategies for upgrading the company’s network software as new updates are available
• Construct and implement plans to ensure the company’s network continues operating smoothly in the event of a problem
• Lead remediation efforts for gaps in security and networking
• Work closely with other department managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company’s network
• Provide ERP assistance for designated functional areas and technical support
• Oversee the implementation of IT projects in accordance with business and IT strategy
• Ensure that IT enabled solutions accomplish business objectives while remaining compatible, secure and consistent with global IT standards
• Develops and implements system wide desktop and virtualization metrics
• Manages architecture and support of mobile device technologies
• Delivers Office 365 strategies for document storage with OneDrive
• Manages the acquisition, installation, configuration, coordination, and monitoring of software/network
• Performs ongoing maintenance of software, ensuring continuity of services
• Identifies development, enhancement and maintenance priorities
• Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
• Responsible for set-up, support and administration of all desktops, remote locations and employees
• Stay up to date with new network technology and report this information to the executive team
