In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of managing Cloud Services including software deployment and upgrades, system setup, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration, and change management, security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery and routine update of services.
This position is accountable for the development of processes to manage operations, assist in architecture development, leadership, and employee development. As a senior leadership position, this role is responsible for the firsthand technology and business services for operations and delivery of Cloud offerings. The role will collaborate with, Architecture, Application Development, Corporate Systems, vendors / service providers, and various infrastructure and operations groups to create and support an operational environment for new and existing services supported by Cloud Infrastructure.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Act as a SME with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS strategies, security, edge, containerization, and ability to clearly articulate the roadmap to go from legacy to best-in-class cloud environment
- Work closely with the AppDev, Data, Architecture teams, and Cloud team to design solutions that deliver business outcomes
- Develop org strategy and execute hiring to support objectives
- Develop strategy and operating model (organization, talent, employees, vendors, processes, technologies) that addresses business needs, is synergistic with the overall IT strategy
- Being a driven and motivated analytical person ready to pursue meaningful work
- Bring knowledge around high availability, scalability, resilience, performance, and cloud security requirement in the cloud
- Working with end-to-end architects, IT leaders, business, and IT support teams to develop and maintain technical strategies and roadmaps that aligned with the strategic direction to ensure that capabilities required by the business are enabled
- Accountable for defining solution architecture for enterprise applications within a line of business
- Preparing and delivering comprehensive communications to convey solution architectures and how it enables business strategies
- Closely work with cloud team to migrate existing application to cloud-native platforms
- Understanding of DevOps, Agile methodologies with proficiencies in building immutable infrastructure through enterprise grade cloud deployments and operations through programmable Infrastructure as a code (IaaC)
- Understanding and experience with integrating of real-time decision models in operational applications
- Advises on systems scalability and development opportunities that can utilized or adapted to meet business area objectives
- Partner closely with business and IT stakeholders throughout the entire SDLC process in an Agile manner
- Lead technical discussions, collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and team members
- Strong experience with architecture strategies, cloud-native architecture: reference implementation, design patterns for large enterprise systems and would have a passion to own the future-state architecture definition for line of business capabilities
- Ability to bridge silos and communicate effectively at multiple levels of business and IT
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree/ Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in owning architecture delivery of core enterprise applications using modern technologies.
- 4+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design of high volume, business critical systems.
- 3+ years of experience with managing others.
- Experience in leading large/complex IT transformations, cloud migrations and operations.
- Knowledge of various operating systems and platforms.
- Knowledge of network, system, and application security.
- Knowledge and understanding of security risk management, IT security, and infrastructure.
- Strong Technical Knowledge (Cloud Platforms – Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization and influence leadership
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs.
- Ability to operate successfully in a lean, agile, and fast-paced organization and own and drive the solution architecture definition.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
