Our corporate office in Buffalo, NY is looking for an IT Director.

The IT Director will be responsible for:

• designing, developing, and implementing organizational information systems, software applications, and IT Support infrastructure including:

- Networking Equipment
- Computer Hardware and Software
- Data Storage Infrastructure
- Web Applications

• developing of the strategic direction of company’s information systems in collaboration with leadership
• determining business requirements for IT systems
• directing and supporting the implementation of new software and hardware
• identifying and recommending new technologies and services that will improve efficiencies, operations, and processes
• approving the purchase, rent, lease, license, or acquisition of hardware, software and services needed to meet company needs
• preparing, implementing and executing the IT Budget
• identifying and recommending new technology solutions
• overseeing the organization’s help desk
• managing IT staff, including hiring, direct supervision, facilitating collaboration among departments and managing employee concerns and performance

The IT Director is expected to have:

• excellent verbal and written skills
• excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong supervisory and leadership
• thorough understanding of IT policies and procedures
• thorough understanding of or ability to quickly master technology used in the organization
