IT - Business Analyst

Based in Woodlands, TX in an onsite environment and be responsible for assisting the Senior Manager, Applications in the maintenance, support, and analysis of enterprise applications and understanding and being the implementation champion of the ITGC framework and controls activities.

What will you be doing in this role:

• Develop an annual plan to implement the ITGC framework and controls activities to ensure that it complies with internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensure that documentation of compliance with ITGC control activities is received, complete and compliant, and archived in the appropriate repository. Create reports as needed.
• Identify risks of non-compliance and potential mitigating actions.
• Manage user for SAP ERP.
• Review each major change for compliance with software development lifecycle.
• Schedule regular Production system backups and the annual D test.
• Research and analyze data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements and measure its effectiveness
• Design and create new procedures to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow.
• Work with third-party SAP ERP application management team to troubleshoot and monitor SAP ERP break fixes and user inquiries.

What experience do you need to have to succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems, accounting, or related field.
• Relevant experience with SAP GRC
• Three years of relevant experience with SAP ERP Application support and / or Internal Audit controls and ITGCs
• Knowledge of and exposure to Sarbanes Oxley (SOx).
• Work towards a Certified Internal Systems Auditor certification is preferred, but not required.
• Problem Solving
• Project Management experience minimum 3 years
• Knowledge of accounting software; Database, Spreadsheet software
