Job Description

Client Cabinet is seeking an IT Business Analyst to be the agency’s client liaison with office Technology and to perform all levels of both functional and technical IT work within the agency.

• The IT Business Analyst will assist the cabinet with significant digital processing transitions currently underway. Having worked with the Office of Technology for more than two-years on a new electronic submission portal (e-106/INHERIT system), the agency is poised to roll the project out for public use. It has become clear that additional expertise/capacity is needed to quickly respond to technical issues that are unavoidable with such a significant roll-out. This new IT system will process hundreds of millions of dollars in investments in the client and timely responses to technical issues will be imperative.
• This position will support the implementation and management of newly developed web application software for digital workflows. Ensure compatibility with other associated/linked systems such as Microsoft Office and Box content management. This position will work with agency staff, KY Interactive, and office technology to assist where needed with website support (KHC has the second most populated website in state government), electronic payment systems and new digital processing requirements with the National Park Service (Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit submissions, National Register nomination submissions, etc.).
• This position must have experience working with application coding, have technical ability to evaluate and fix issues (bugs), and be able to work with Office Technology Developers to fine tune a truly usable and fully functional electronic processing system. This position will be the agency client liaison with Office Technology requiring good leadership skills, it will also be required to perform all levels of both functional and technical IT work within the agency.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
