MMC Tech is looking for a talented IT Business Analyst to join our growing team at a crucial time in the development of our B2B strategy which considers integrated solutions for our clients, brokers and reinsurance markets.

We will count on you to:

• Translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements.
• Provide traceability of business requirements to IT Solutions and ensures system testing encompasses existing capabilities of solution as well as future function point requirements.
• Identify, verify and document functional requirements using Requirements Management methodology and tools.
• Identify data elements and provide data mappings/dictionaries.
• Analyse, design, redesign and document “as is” and “to be” business processes.
• Ensure development community has a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
• Conduct/facilitate acceptance tests for solutions with user community, including, development of UAT test scenario and test scripts.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate training and supplemental materials.
• Conduct and analyse feasibility studies/impact assessments, regarding implementation of IT solutions against current state parameters (process, application use-cases, and non-functional impact).
• Partner with Business/IT in define and management of scope with each release.

What you need to have:

• Very strong communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with building engaging relationships with technical & non-technical teams
• 7+ years of practical IT project experience working as a business analyst

What makes you stand out:

• Knowledge of or practical experience of the MERN tech stack
• Experience of compliance & Data Regulations, GDPR, NYDFS, etc.
• Agile or Project Management certifications
• Deep understanding of reinsurance ops – the business, processes, and data

The applicable base salary range for this role is $65,800 to $131,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
