Description
SAIC is looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our Defense & Civilian Sector in support of the Federal Aviation Administration Integrated Service Center (FAA ISC). SAIC leads the way to provide customer-centric IT Service Management (ITSM) focused on improving service, and leveraging processes and strategies with an emphasis on timely IT services and support.
Candidates will be a key part of a team of IT professionals who provide IT Asset Management (ITAM) support for the FAA.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily and long-term asset management of IT computer hardware within the organization
- Accurately manage and maintain IT Asset Management (ITAM) databases and records
- Ensure quality control for all data collected and recorded
- Assist with developing and maintaining processes, policies, and standards related to ITAM across the organization.
- Conduct research and analysis across multiple ITAM databases to identify and track IT assets
- Communicate directly with customers and/or business stakeholders in relation to IT assets
- Update incidents and tasks through the Remedy ITSM Tool
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and two (2) years related experience; 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Must have the ability to obtain and hold a Public Trust clearance
Desired Skills and Experience
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and communication skills
