Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our landscaping team. We are seeking an individual with experience in all aspects of irrigation installation, service, and troubleshooting. We are especially interested in candidates who also have other experience in landscape maintenance and installations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work outdoors maintaining energy and pace along with the team
• Complete commercial/residential irrigation startups and winterizations
• Install new irrigation systems. (Design experience a plus)
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair systems when not working properly
• Must perform quality service and never take shortcuts.
• Maintain exceptional customer service
• Maintain inventory and stock
• Maintain a clean and organized work truck.
• Perform minor hardscape repair and maintenance.
• Be flexible and occasionally assist landscape maintenance crew.
• Occasionally operate riding mowers, weed eaters, and common landscaping tools.
• Other tasks as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with common landscaping equipment.
• Prior experience or work in lawn maintenance (preferred).
• Be safety conscious.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Good communication skills.
• Time management and tracking skills.
• Always treat customers with respect and patience.
• Enjoy and take pride in making properties look beautiful.
• Water feature experience a plus.
• Experience in low voltage lighting systems a plus.
• Backflow certification a plus.

Shifts

• 10 hr shifts, Monday through Thursday.
• Standard start time is 7am. Option to start earlier during the summer.
• Friday is optional overtime (rarely it is required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

• Coeur d'Alene, ID: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
