INVESTIGATIONS RESEARCH ASSISTANT Job at United States Senate
The Democratic staff of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is seeking a Research Assistant to support its investigations team with oversight activities within the Committee’s jurisdiction. Ideal candidates would have 2-3 years of related policy, government, or legal experience. Experience on the Hill is preferred but not required. Primary responsibilities include conducting research, drafting oversight letters, preparing memos regarding legislative proposals and Committee hearings, meeting with stakeholders, and other associated responsibilities. Candidates must be exceptionally strong writers, detail-oriented, be able to work under tight deadlines, and be able to handle multiple projects at once. Salary will be based on education and experience.
