Inventory Controller Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible inventory controller to join our growing team. In this position, you will manage inventory through the use of a computerized database system. Your primary objective will be to maintain adequate levels of stock to meet daily distribution demands while minimizing excess supply.
Inventory Controller Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock
- Maintain updated and accurate audits of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
- Review operations schedules and requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions
- Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability
- Nurture positive relationships with Service Partners and provide customer service as needed
Inventory Controller Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Minimum of one year of related experience in retail, wholesale, warehousing, or logistics
- Proficient with computers and other standard office technology, Salesforce a plus
- Physical ability to lift 10-50 pounds and sit, climb, balance, crouch, and stand for period of time
- Superior organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Candidates MUST be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, no felonies or alcohol related driving offenses in the past five years,

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
