Production Planning/Inventory Control

6 Month contract starts 12/19

· The Production Planning & Inventory Control role is more of a data entry type position.

· The team receives the shipment virtually and the worker will sit at a desk and focus on details for entering shipment documentation.

· They are entering the shipment data into SAP and SGP prior to the truck’s arrival with the actual shipment.

· Assist in managing plasma inventory, meeting pool optimization requirements, and modeling Internal/External manufacturing pools.

· Assists with planning and modeling available plasma into pools to supply manufacturing according to demand projections and direct the corresponding creation of PU& to support all manufacturing plants (GTI, GBI, & Biomat SA/IG) as required.

· Assist with performing inventory analysis of aging and status of all types of plasma to generate plasma availability projections

· Work with teams at the PLC and manufacturing site to review requirements and communicate schedule confirmations/modifications matching plasma types and specifications.

· Assist in managing the on-hand plasma inventory for on-hold, obsolete, expired and slow-moving plasma and act as research and resolution resource on inventory issues

· Assists with research which substantiates disposition of plasma inventory in blocked inventory status to either be dispositioned for manufacturing use, downgrade to diagnostic grade or write-off.

· Assist in managing the pool optimization process ensuring the most efficient use of manufacturing capacity and maximizing equivalent FG production.

· Assist Manager with internal and external financial and SOX audits, emergency plasma shipments and other projects as assigned.

· Special Projects as required to support Department and Company Objectives.

Skills:

· Knowledge of inventory control system, Incident Trackingsystem, SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.

· Knowledge of plasma clerical operations.

· May be Lead person on various projects as assigned.

· Must have been a Team Lead in previous position(s)

· Must have the ability to follow up on clues and leads inresearching matters.

· Must have the ability to evaluate situations in terms ofpotential risks and make recommendations to minimize,deter or eliminate the risks.

· Exhibit clear thinking in evaluating atypical situations.

· Must possess strong written and verbal communicationand interpersonal skills.

· Must have data entry experience in SAP.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field

· Minimum 2 years’ experience

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
