Job Designation
The Stockroom Clerk receives items into stockroom from incoming inspection, distributes parts to assembly line, and verifies and maintains records. Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel, while following policies, procedures and safety regulations.
Job Core Responsibilities
- Receives into stockroom items from receiving inspection
- Logs items received, by part number into computer system
- Maintains inventory records and issues stocked items on presentation of approved requisition forms
- Pulls and distributes parts to production personnel
- Conducts cycle counts
- Follows all safety policy and procedures
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications
Certifications Education : A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Years Experience : 0 - 2 years of relevant experience
Skills :
- Good communication skills
- Experience in an electronic/mechanical manufacturing environment
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to multi-task
