SUMMARY:
Processes and audits data for the accuracy of plant inventory transactions, including but not limited to, production, shipping, receiving, and inventory adjustments for Customer inventory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Performs daily transaction audits of production, shipping, receiving, and inventory adjustments to validate transactions against expected performance. Performs corrections to transactions as necessary to ensure accurate inventory records for customers’ inventories. Audits include review of consumption and production quantities, shipment and receipt quantities, applicable pricing, and dates of transactions within the correct reporting periods for month-end and customer reporting.

Validates and corrects any differences between PO’s and inventory to insure proper coding prior to submission to AP.

Researches inventory variances or system issues and assists in resolution.

Insures inventory data is entered or reported to customers. This may include maintaining a customer inventory database.

Prepares campaign closure reports to analyze yield analysis and consumption summaries for each product.

Coordinates the physical inventory on customer items as required at the end of campaigns, annually or as requested by the customer. Makes necessary inventory adjustments in the system based on count results and explains any variances on customer material and any variances on customer material in excess of defined shrinkage allowances.

Reviews month-end inventory reports for accuracy and prepares any corrections to inventory in the system prior to month-end close.
Researches and resolves any variances as requested.

Maintains a clean work environment both inside and outside the facility by using good housekeeping habits.

Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Reliable and regular attendance is expected.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree with 3 years in accounting or inventory, or data analysis related positions or no degree and 5 years in accounting or inventory, or data analysis related positions.

OTHER SKILL AND ABILITIES:

Excellent computer skills. Including knowledge of accounting software applications, Microsoft applications and Oracle applications. Previous knowledge of SAP (customer systems) also very beneficial.

Basic accounting principles knowledge.

Excellent critical thinking, decision making and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to set priorities and work on multiple tasks.

Good organizational skills.

May be required to pass an OSHA respirator physical.

Must be able to travel by various means
