JOB DESCRIPTION
Assists in the processing of all international transfer credit evaluations, maintenance of student records and processes as they relate to international students' registration, enrollment, academic records, and other related functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluates all international transfer student transcripts and applies transfer guidelines to appropriate courses and grades.
- Assists with and processes requests for official and unofficial transcripts.
- Meets with international students to answer inquiries in reference to transfer credit policies and completed evaluations.
- Assist with the review of study abroad contracts.
- Communicates with international students, academic departments and parents of dependent international students as it relates to transfer policies.
- Serves as a resource for the University community in regards to international transfer credit policies.
- Processes petitions as assigned
- Completes other tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Bi-lingual or second language competency preferred.
- Requires minimum of three years of higher-education related experience.
- Must have a basic working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Position requires crisis resolution skills, accuracy of data entry, critical thinking, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to multi-task and strong interpersonal skills.
