Position Overview

Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a Test Engineer to support the NISSC II contract. Your career at Infinity enables NISSC to fulfill its mission to “provide classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at NISSC sites.” As a member of our team, you will support corporate and customer mission to provide world-class IT services and support that connects systems and users across NORAD in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, cyber security, systems administration, and other mission-critical areas.
The Test Engineer develops, maintains, and evaluates complex engineering computer systems. Performs coding, testing, installing, and maintaining engineering computer programs having features including the multiplicity of functions, critical constraints, and elaborate input/output.
Develops computer program documentation and operational procedures. Prepares project resource estimates, schedules, and cost analyses. Provides diagnostic support to correct processing anomalies in complex computer programs. Assists in the preparation of specifications and other activities that require knowledge of programming principles and techniques. Interprets requirements and performs analyses to ensure that objectives are met. Assists in the training of less experienced personnel.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support Agile team(s) in review and refinement of Acceptance/Verification/Validation Criteria and Software/System Test approaches.
  • Lead Agile team(s) in the development and implementation of testing infrastructure for Product software/systems.
  • Attend and Participate in Periodic Large Scale Agile Planning events.
  • Attend and Participate in standard Agile ritual meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives).

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 5 years experience in the testing and verification of software and/or systems.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the development and use of automated testing of software/systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on NISSC II Products/Applications
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
  • Experience in Unit Test Development (nUnit, etc.)
  • Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environments.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related scientific, or engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and certifications.
