A multi-functional full-time (1.0FTE) position is open in the Clinical Services Department to provide initial clinical assessments to determine eligibility for ongoing specialty mental health services and to provide individual, group or family therapy to individuals with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders and to partner with the Crisis Intervention/Emergency Services Program Coordinator to support Crisis Intervention/Emergency services.
The successful individual must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have a good clinical understanding of mental health/behavioral health conditions and the most current evidence-based practices used to treat various conditions, and have the ability to work independently and with others to build therapeutic relationships with consumers and families. A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or another Human Services Field and licensure within scope of practice (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, LLP) in the State of Michigan is required. One to three years of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families is preferred. Must also be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid driver’s license; pass a criminal and professional background check, and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
