It also involves placing outgoing calls and receiving incoming calls to facilitate collection and resolution of insurance accounts.

Requirements

• Medical insurance and/or medical collections experience OR vocational school certification in Medical Insurance and Billing
• Outstanding listening, communication, problem-solving and research skills
• Good computer skills
• Strong customer service experience demonstrating compassion and concern
• Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task routinely
• Professional presentation/appearance/demeanor
• Demonstrated stable work history
• Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and workers’ comp knowledge
• HIPAA knowledge

All candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and a pre-employment national background check.
