Job Description:
We are hiring Property & Casualty Insurance Agents for a new insurance agency that services a large portfolio of mortgage customers. Large base plus uncalled commission and great internal benefits. Previous insurance experience in a call center is preferred. Calls will be both inbound and outbound to existing customers and warm leads.
Work Environment: (currently remote)
Monday- Friday
9-6pm PST/12pm-9 EST
***Candidates can be remote EXCEPT New York, Massechusetts, and California
Upon offer: company will send them computer and headset to their home
Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma required.
Property and Casualty Insurance License
Strong PC skills (MS Office Suite)
Previous knowledge of EZ Lynx system a plus.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
Previous experience in a call center
Performance Expectations:
Responsible for at least 3 sales a day from warm calls
Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and/or email in a timely manner.
Process customer requests for policy changes, proof of insurance and cancellations according to established company policies and procedures.
Process insurance carrier requests for additional information according to established company policies and procedures.
Enter customer payments in the appropriate insurance carrier systems as necessary
Obtain trailing documents and forward to appropriate carriers
Solicit opportunities for Insurance Sales Agents to cross-sell other lines of business
Update agency management system with details of all customer interactions and transactions.
Commit to continuing education and other requirements to maintain the required licensing.
Commission ranges from 0-4.5% (15-30K is 1%, and builds up to 4.5% after 120K in premium)
The ideal candidate will be experienced in and comfortable with heavy outbound sales, having had experience with cold calling/prospecting. (Call center experience is a bonus)
