Position Overview:
Are you a collaborative creative with a passion for elevating the internal associate experience? Come join our team as an Instructional Designer and help us cultivate an engaged culture that empowers individuals to reach their full potential. The Instructional Designer is an innovative member of the Human Resources team, supporting Talent Development, Corporate Communications, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing engaging communication and learning solutions, while managing complex timelines and deliverables.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Partnering with subject matter experts to identify communication and learning needs and goals
  • Create learning objectives, design documents, storyboards, and other learning design and communication deliverables to optimize knowledge transfer and application.
  • Supporting Talent Management & Development team in delivering desired learning outcomes by ensuring content is shaped into a clear, concise, and understandable format
  • Developing multi-media communication and learning across a variety of audiences, modalities, and delivery methods (ex. instructor-led, self-led, in-person, virtual, e-learning, etc.)
  • Ensuring deliverables are aligned to the brand and/or organizational voice and share a consistent look and feel
  • Successfully designing training and learning experiences for a predominantly hourly, geographically-distributed workforce
  • Applying relevant trends and best practices in adult learning theory and instructional design
  • Updating and refining existing learning content, and recommending different design applications and layouts that would improve the learner experience
  • Operationalizing a streamlined design request, brief, and review process
  • Efficiently managing design reviews and approvals
  • Maintaining organized project files
REQUIREMENTS
  • 3-5 years working experience in instructional and graphic design
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent project/time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and workstreams with different key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of modern adult learning theories and leading instructional design trends
  • Experience designing learning across different modalities and delivery methods (ex. instructor-led, self-led, in-person, virtual, e-learning, etc.)
  • High level of proficiency with graphic design and eLearning design technology, including the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), Articulate Storyline, Rise and Camtasia
  • Experience/proficiency with the following a plus, but not required: Workday, PlayerLync, video/audio editing, and storyboard creation software
  • This position will be remote

The target salary for this role is: $100,000 - $125,000
Actual compensation within that range is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and other job-related factors.
