INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

This position earns an annual base salary between $60,000- $80,000 based on experience. We provide excellent employer-paid benefits where the company covers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. We also offer 401(k) with company match, uncapped paid time off (PTO), and sick time.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As an Instructional Designer, you will create eLearning courses for multiple departments within the Store Space brand. Planning strategically and using assigned resources, you will map out engaging learning formats for approval by leadership and deploy to our teams. You will also help manage our LMS and evaluate training outcomes based on communicated KPIs, providing monthly reporting on successes and areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience in Instructional Design required (Master's degree or specialization in Instructional Design a plus)
• 2+ years of graphic and/or training design experience preferred (instructor-led and self-paced)
• Must have experience with process management for training development life cycle, preferably using the ADDIE model.
• Experience with training and development software required (Adobe Suite, Captivate, Articulate 360, Storyline, Camtasia, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience with Scorm is preferred but not required. If you have experience with Storyline vs. Captivate or Articulate 360, that's a plus as well. Excellent computer and typing skills, audio and narration editing, and interdepartmental collaboration skills are required. You'll need to build relationships by displaying great interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills; you should also have a high aptitude for customer satisfaction.

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is full-time and onsite. Our typical office hours are between 8:30am - 6:00pm.
