How you will help

We are creating a remarkable journey for all of our team members which includes facilitating their continuous growth through the addition of a dynamic Organizational Development & Learning team which will include our first Instructional Designer. In this role, you will lead development initiatives to improve our organization as well as implement professional development and career pathing strategies. This position serves as a trusted strategic partner to all team members, delivering leading-edge advisory services related to the alignment of resources, roles and responsibilities that all add value to and successfully support HealthVerity’s business strategy.

Please note: There is an expectation of in-office collaboration. Frequency is dependent upon your proximity to the office.

What you will do
  • Partner with stakeholder(s) and SME(s) to identify learning objectives, gather requirements, define outcomes, and establish success metrics
  • Conduct needs analysis to ensure training addresses business requirements
  • Design (remote/live/blended/async) training solutions that meet requirements
  • Develop informative, visually appealing and engaging training collateral
  • Responsible for the delivery of internally developed and/or externally sourced development programs for team members including leadership training, team building events and educational programming
  • Partner with managers to design and deliver new instructional content across all roles
  • Support performance management by embedding best practices across the business in areas such as coaching, goal setting, feedback, development opportunities and succession planning
  • Implement career path methodologies and tools to enable mobility for team members
  • Develop the functional and leadership skills/competencies required for all jobs and build developmental/promotional opportunities within job families and functional areas
  • Direct the needs assessment for training and professional development to enhance the effectiveness of performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company
  • Lead the implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of team members
  • Provide advice and counsel on organizational and team effectiveness-related issues
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and propose solutions
  • Analyze the impact of existing programs and combine those insights with the latest thinking in organizational science to help our team members perform effectively

Desired skills and experience
  • Strong digital and creative skills to create professional products and presentations
  • Experience managing LMS platforms that include authored content
  • Working knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and programming
  • Able to deliver independently and take the lead on initiatives
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $55,000 - 80,000 + annual bonus opportunity.

All HealthVerity team members must be vaccinated against COVID-19 unless granted an exemption based on religious or medical reasons. Determinations for exemptions are evaluated on an individualized basis and are role-dependent.
