ePerformax is seeking a recent graduate with an Instructional Designer degree. This is a U.S.-based role that is remote. Must be a fluent speaker of English and Mexican Spanish. This position supports our frontline customer consultants in the Philippines.

Can you translate training needs into engaging eLearning through design that utilizes adult learning principles? Do you have some experience using authoring tools to create eLearning? Do you have some corporate experience? If so, we want to hear from you.

The Instructional Designer is a member of our Customer Experience Training Development team responsible for training and certifying frontline customer service representatives who handle phone and written contacts from English-speaking and Spanish-speaking U.S. customers of the nationally recognized clients we represent.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current instructor-led training and redesign for eLearning delivery.
  • Partner with programs, SMEs and instructional designers to analyze customer experience gaps.
  • Analyze behaviors that impact the teammate’s ability to create positive customer experiences and reach performance metrics.
  • Use adult learning theories to creating learning solutions.
  • Design and develop training scope and sequence, training outlines, and storyboards for digital and blended learning solutions.
  • Create learning objectives that align with business needs and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams during the ADDIE process through implementation.
  • Develop training solutions including job-related training courses, job aids, playbooks and other performance solutions that meet performance objectives.
  • Design and create visual elements and multimedia assets such as videos and audio for online courses, workshops, webinars and presentations.
  • Collaborate with LMS administrators to define data capture/reporting parameters, and to publish online courses and other digital solutions onto company servers and LMS.
  • Implement and pilot learning solutions with different groups of learners to validate learning, content, timing and skill transfer.
  • Evaluate training success through evaluation tools and data. Use of the Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Evaluation framework is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Instructional Design degree (bachelor’s, master’s or certificate degree in Instructional Design and Technology, Educational Technology or related field)
  • 1+ year experience designing and developing digital and blended learning solutions, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate required. Must have an understanding of the necessary interactions, variable, etc. (Experience using DomiKnow, a plus but not required.)
  • Ability to storyboard and write effective copy, instructional text, audio/video scripts.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal, communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Fluent in Mexican Spanish widely spoken in U.S. (or other similar Latin American dialect)
  • Strong organizational skills and project management skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to work with team members in U.S. and Philippines.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience handling customer service contacts or creating customer experience/soft skill training, a plus
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS). SCORM/AICC/xAPI experience a plus.
  • Experience with audio/video editing and visual design skills a plus.
  • Experience interpreting and/or utilizing data in project/product development a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
