Position Overview

As an Inside Solutions Architect (ISA), you will be responsible for supporting Zones Account Executives and clients by providing solution design, presales technical support and sales assistance on products and solutions in the Networking category. This role will be the liaison between sales and the customer as the technical expert.

The Inside Solutions Architect, Lenovo Server/Storage is primarily responsible for:

• Responsible for assessing, designing, pricing, quoting, and positioning Lenovo Server/Storage solutions for Zones clients.
• Other responsibilities include answering presales Server/Storage technical and non-technical questions while educating AEs and clients.
• Become an expert on Zones managed Services partners, professional services capabilities, products, technologies, and programs.
• Following Zones ISA sales methodology.
• Pipeline Management and forecasting.
• Evangelize Zones Assessment offerings and Post Sales Professional Services.
• Conducts conference calls and customer presentations as necessary.
• Obtains relevant industry and partner certifications and attends approved trainings.
• Works with other departments at Zones to ensure sales and logistics processes are streamlined and optimized to maximize sales.
• Works with AEs to fulfill RFQ and RFP as requested.
• Light travel is required

We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills

• BA/BS in Business, IT, or a related field preferred
• Industry Server and Storage Certification preferred, with Lenovo Server and Storage Certification highly desired.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with management, peers and coworkers.
• Fast learner and open to learning new tools, processes and can become an expert and leader in the administration of such tool and processes.
• A team player who possesses a ‘can do’ attitude who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Strong people skills and ability to enable others through conducting training and demonstrations

Technology Focus & Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office - especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in Presales Consulting and Systems design for IBM/Lenovo Server and Storage
• Aptitude for learning about technical aspects of products a necessity

Compensation:

• Qualified candidates can expect an hourly range of $30 - $36, this role is eligible for bonus compensation.
• Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Washington area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
