Position Purpose: Primary role is to work with the medical director , interdisciplinary management/staff , operations, Business Development, and Administration to create and maintain program excellence and accreditation through the development of a viable interdisciplinary team/partnership.
Duties (not all inclusive)
- Understands and works to meet and exceed the needs of patients.
- Understands facility goals for customer satisfaction and strives to meet and exceed these goals.
- Facilitates a strategic plan and vision of the facility that incorporates the strategic goals of the program.
- Works with operations leadership team, medical directors, program teams to formulate marketing plan to position facility as the rehab cent of choice in the area; interacts internal/external customers to gather input on this plan.
- Works with operations leadership to compile a program evaluation report needed for regulator/accreditation compliance.
- Works with medication direct and operations leadership team to assure all policies and procedures are incorporated, reviewed in a timely manner and are in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Works with Medical Director, Administrator/COO and others on the team to provide up to date information on regulatory and accreditation. standards, supervises development of action plans to maintain an atmosphere of regulatory readiness at all times.
- Works with Controller and CFO/finance department to oversee and approve a budget that meets customer and business needs.
- Works with finance, billing compliance and operations leadership to assure maximum length of stay and charge efficiency for patients.
- Communicates financial, marketing, and key strategic directions to leadership team to assure all staff, management and medical director(s) receive the information needed to be successful.
- Facilitates the development of trusting relationships and partnerships with physicians, payers, patients, co-workers, including a close working relationship with medical director that includes them in program and policy decision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience in Acute in-patient Rehabilitation.
- Texas Registered Nurse Licensure, or TX Physical Therapist Licensure, or
TX Occupational Therapist Licensure. - Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
