Job Description:

Raytheon Intelligence & Space is seeking an IT Specialist with Information Assurance experience to serve a key role in a Technical Operations Lab. The candidate will implement secure solutions for multiple unclassified and classified systems and manage information assurance requirements for internet-connected and standalone systems within environments of varying complexity levels.

Required:

Relevant experience with the following tasks:

• Patch Management, Anti-Virus, Laptop Maintenance, OS Upgrades, Computer Security.
• Install, configure, administer, support, and maintain systems including associated hardware assets.
• Windows and LINUX including system installation, configuration, and administration.
• Identify, prioritize, research, and resolve complex problems.
• Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems.
• Must be a U.S. CITIZEN with an existing Top Secret security clearance, and willing to take/pass polygraph.

Desired:

Experience in the following disciplines:

• Developing, analyzing, and documenting hardware/software design and architecture.
• Understanding of basic RF concepts.
• Intermediate scripting, or software engineering background (e.g. Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Perl, or Java).

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or 4+ years of relevant work experience.

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work. Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
