Job Overview: Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions for The Carolina Inn & Rizzo Conference Center. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. * Only USA applicants will be considered* This is an on-site postion*

Qualifications
Essential Job Functions:
- Salary Rage *** Salary range $67,000 - $70,000***
- Overall duties would include, but not be limited to:
- Assist properties with the timely and secure installation, setup, and training of all systems for the on-going operation of the hotel.
- Oversight, support, and maintenance of all hotel components including but not limited to: File and print servers; application/web servers; database servers; backup systems
- Ensuring all components are closely monitored and in good operating order
- Ensure hotel maintains annual Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance
- Ensuring latest patches/updates (hardware/software) are tested and deployed on a timely basis.
- Ensuring data backup and disaster recovery is functioning properly and tested on a regular basis.
- Day-to-day technical support services and ensure resolutions are provided in a timely and professional manger, for all supported/centralized systems, including:
- Troubleshooting and management of all LAN/WAN/Server/Infrastructure components
- General hardware troubleshooting and support
- General network troubleshooting and support
- General application (Opera, Micros, HotSOS, Saflok, etc.) troubleshooting and support (with appropriate vendors)
- Coordinate all hardware installation, troubleshooting and removal.
- Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by maintaining and enforcing standards/procedures.
- Analyzes business needs presented by the user community/guests and recommends technical solutions.
- Managing of third-party vendors.
- Assists hotel in all aspects of deploying technology in a production environment, including coordinating with third-party vendors for required go-live components.
- Maintains continuity of technology by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs that pertain to implementations.
- Remains abreast of changes in user, system software and hardware requirements.
- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with various departments.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing Hyatt Hotels Corporation standards.
- Collaborate with staff members, customers, and other managers to determine project goals, schedules, and budgets, and communicate vital information to project team members and other people involved.
- Maintain on-call status for after-hour emergencies.
Essential:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field experience in hotel industry.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
- Knowledge in hardware trouble shooting, software installation, telephone, and voicemail system installation.
- Ability to partner and communicate well with internal and external business partners (hotels/vendors).
- Education or training in Information Technology or related or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft environment including Windows operating systems & office related products
- Working knowledge of non-Microsoft software applications in a pc environment, i.e., Antivirus, reporting software, third party tools, and remote-control software
- Individual must be skilled in the purpose, procedures, and requirements of basic networking.
- Individual must be skilled in understanding network cabling and low voltage design.
- Individual must have a working knowledge of the TCP/IP network protocol.
- Individual must be able to take ownership of areas of responsibility and make recommendations and decisions on the improvement and operation of those areas.
- Individual must be customer focused and have a clear understanding of their service role in the corporation.
- Individual is required to act in a professional and confidential manner.
- Individual must be able to deal effectively with a wide variety of users.
