Job Description:


Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to manage the Information Security Program for classified operations, including developing appropriate policies, procedures, and eMASS accreditation packages to address specific programmatic requirements. Successful candidate will be responsible for compliance oversight, assessment, and operation of multiple projects under their purview. This position also includes supervisory responsibilities for technical and non-technical staff of ISSOs, Auditors, and IS Security Specialists.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and disseminate annual training for general IS users, DTAs, ISO/PMs, and ISSOs.
  • Primary facilitator of internal and external assessments against NIST SP 800-53 standards.
  • Evaluate the security posture of Torch facilities and accredited information systems and provide mitigation and remediation solutions to the Executive Leadership, ISO/PM, and FSO as applicable.
  • Manage multiple projects and communicate with various ISO/PMs and other stakeholders regarding funding requirements to meet program objectives.
  • Review standard practices of the organization and collaborate with interdepartmental teams for risk management activities.
  • Collaborate with working groups regarding security matters to include but not limited to NIST and CMMC requirements.
  • Oversee Incident Response procedures and provide annual IR training to responsible teams and stakeholders. Lead IR activities, coordinate with responsible organizational and non-organizational parties during and after events, and draft investigative reports and after-actions/lessons-learned documentation.
  • Oversee the operation of each information system through the SDLC and ensure appropriate sanitization procedures at project completion.
  • Manage the Information Security Program’s Continuous Monitoring practices and drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the IA lead of CCBs for each information system and evaluate proposed changes for security-relevant impacts.
  • Strong understanding of Industrial Security and DCSA requirements, with the ability to provide input into Torch Security operations for classified meetings/presentations, Visitor Control, Document Control, and facility maintenance activities.



Job Requirements:


B.S. in Computer Science or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.

Minimum 10 years of experience in a DCSA/cleared contractor environment.

Experience with DCSA practices under the RMF/NIST standards.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of collaborative teams to achieve objectives.

Professional certifications such as: CISM, CISSP, CISA, or equivalent, or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of hire.

Security Clearance required: Final Secret, with ability to obtain Top Secret.
