Definition:
Under the direction of the Call Center Manager, the Information and Referral Clark receives and schedules appointments for patients and intakes information for new patient accounts for the primary health care cluster.
Reports To: Acting Supervisor as designated
Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.), electronic health record systems, and database systems.
Fluency in English (Speak, read and write).
Fluency in Spanish (speak, translate, read and write) required.
Sensitivity to the different cultures represented among members and staff.
Demonstrated ability to listen and communicate with others in a professional and caring manner including sensitivity with individuals from diverse cultures and lifestyles.
Displays qualities of dependability and reliability, be willing to accept a variety of tasks and be able to comprehend quickly and follow directions accurately.
Current California driver’s license, appropriate insurance coverage and a driving record acceptable to the NEVHC’s insurance carrier (if required to drive on the job).
Must be willing and able to work a varied and flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of NEVHC and its patients.
Typing speed of 40 wpm.
