Job Title: Infection Control Nurse
Job Description:
JVK is seeking a part time Infection Control Nurse to support our team. In this role you will review and guide operation team with compliance and best practice for our facilities. Review and guidance will be of the below:
- Educating staff about proper hospital hygiene techniques/protocols at JVK.
- Providing nursing care techniques to our staff to ensure treatment of infectious diseases, such as HIV/AIDS or hepatitis, on linens are properly handled and cleaned.
- Educate JVK staff of patient care services as directed by hospital standards/medical authority, such as an infectious disease guideline.
- Coordinating with other members of the healthcare facility, to ensure that linens receive appropriate treatment and follow up care.
- Diagnosing and managing infectious disease cases in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Assisting with the development of infection control protocols and policies to protect patients and staff from exposure to infectious diseases.
