Spondeo Montessori is a private Montessori school located in Gilbert, AZ. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced teacher's assistant to join our team. We are hiring for our infant room and seeking applications with previous infant experience. If you are a self-motivated individual with a specific interest in education, we encourage you to apply!

The candidate must enjoy working with children and be devoted to building a nurturing learning environment.

Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in safely monitoring the children as they work or engage in work
• Preparing snacks for morning or afternoon time frames
• Keeping the classroom, both inside and patio, clean and in order
• Notating incidents, either written or electronic
• Engaging and connecting with the children throughout the day
• Assisting in toilet practices
• Collaborating with one another to ensure a functional environment

Teacher Assistant Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• DPS fingerprint clearance card or willingness to obtain one prior to start date
• Maricopa County food handlers’ card or willingness to obtain one prior to start date
• CPR/First Aide Card or willingness to obtain prior to start date
• TB test within the last year
• Must have a positive attitude
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities
