Industrial Sewing Machine Operator Job at Emergency Responder Products
We are a Uniform Company looking for skilled trouser and coat makers at our Old Bethpage location.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Various alterations such as hemming and attaching patches and decorations
- Trouser and coat making if possible is a big PLUS!
- Manages all interactions with professionalism
- Completes all work in a timely manner to ensure customer delivery date
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in tailoring
- Strong working knowledge of garment construction in men and women's apparel and ability to perform high quality workmanship including hand and by machine
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in sewing and making garments
- Keen sense of color perception and fabric types
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and manner
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 /hour can be discussed based on experience
Experience:
- Garment Construction: 4 years (Preferred)
Employees working per shift:
- 15 or fewer

- 9AM
