Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Maintenance Mechanic position with a cement plant located in Clackamas, OR. The person in this position will be performing inspections, installs, repairs, and rebuilding plant operating equipment.

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, installs, repairs, and rebuilds on plant operating equipment. Emergency and unscheduled repairs when required.
• Preventative maintenance and routine checks on production equipment to include: pneumatics and production machines, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, fillers, agitators, and motors.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment.
• Use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of mechanical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. PLC and HVAC knowledge is a major plus (but not required)
• Must be able to disassemble and rebuild multiple types of equipment. Hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding knowledge.
• Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Willingness to work around large manufacturing equipment and furnaces, as well as operate heavy equipment as necessary
• Must be willing to work in a dusty/dirty environment and outdoors.

• $25-28.HR to start Depending on Experience with increase after being hired on.
• MON- FRI: Start time at 6AM- 2:30PM *must available for OT and/or emergency repairs Medical
