Basic Qualifications
- At least four (4) years of machine repair, hydraulic repair, iron worker of industrial maintenance/millwright experience
Or
- A licensed Journeyman Millwright through a state indentured apprenticeship
Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Solid mechanical aptitude in complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- An analytical and detail-oriented personality
- Knowledge of conventional welding and industrial equipment operations
Responsibilities:
- Locating problems through close observation of machinery and staff practices.
- Performing careful inventory and stock checks, and placing orders for required material and equipment.
- Sourcing replacement parts and liaising with vendors.
- Assisting with training of all new hires.
