Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Industrial Insulators
Sedron Technologies designs and manufactures advanced water, and waste upcycling technologies that transform the paradigm of Waste Processing to Resource Recovery. Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Insulate complex piping routes containing reducers and other fittings
- Insulate and install cladding on large complex pipes and fittings
- Create and install custom insulating blankets
- Read and work from mechanical blueprints and schematic drawings
- Use cranes, forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts
- Prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to fulfill objectives
- Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within a multidisciplinary team, communicating and collaborating with technicians and engineers alike
- Travel to remote sites for a minimum of 6 weeks per year to insulate as built equipment (this is an essential part of the job which comes with off-site pay, overtime, and per-diem)
- Comply with all safety, 5S, and HazMat practices
- Work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
- Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
- Demonstrate passion and excitement for solving difficult yet exciting tasks
- Arrive to work on time and maintain good attendance
- Maintain good organization skills
- Perform other related duties as assigned
This position has multiple levels of competency to be determined by performance, certifications, and supervisor discretion.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Five or more years' experience in industrial insulation or related field
- Must be familiar with industrial insulation standard concepts, practices, and procedures
- Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Wage range for this role is between $28 and $52 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, and off-site work. The range provided is Sedron's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
