Job Description:
The Imaging clerk is responsible for all administrative customer service functions, including imaging, fax, file and mail duties to assure timely delivery and services are performed to meet the service standards of the company.
What you will do:
- Accurately image all incoming mail and packages within established turnaround time using a desk scanner
- Accurately process all outgoing mail and packages using a letter inserter machine and a postage meter machine
- Timely and accurately manage all incoming fax documents within established turnaround time
- Restock and maintain basic office supplies and company envelopes
- Use identified process to timely and accurately scan and index claim files, including any related correspondence using the established indexing structure
- Independently resolve internal customer service or technical problems as they arise
- Assist in training new staff
- Assist with projects such as new client implementation or an external legal file requests
- Complete all tasks in a self-sufficient manner, maintaining satisfactory production and accuracy guidelines
- Maintain ERISA & HIPAA compliance
What you will need to succeed:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong customer service
- Demonstrated ability to establish excellent team-oriented interpersonal working relationships
- Ability to initiate and prioritize regular work duties and small projects, ability to multitask, be detail oriented, organized, and possess good time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good computer skills; proficient in PC environment, with basic skills in Excel, Word and email systems
- Ability to use office equipment including fax machine, photocopier, printer, scanning and indexing systems
