Observes and assists in various capacities to Orlando Health Imaging areas.
Responsibilities:
- Transports stretcher and wheelchair patients in a safe, professional manner, following HIPPA and handoff compliance.
- Uses double identifiers on every patient per The Joint Commission regulations for patient safety.
- Orders and receives weekly radiology supplies.
- Picks up and delivers requisitions, specimens and other materials within the facility.
- Assist with stocking and cleaning of rooms, puts away supplies correctly.
- Reports faulty equipment, hazardous conditions and/or incidents to supervisor for follow up.
- Returns equipment to designated storage area, maintains transport equipment and cleans, deodorizes and disinfects equipment
- Maintains O2/suction supplies as required per facility.
- Utilizes all corporate radiology computer systems effectively and accurately.
- Delivers mail interdepartmentally as needed.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Education/Training
- High School graduate or equivalent is required.
- BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 3 months of hire
