JOB SUMMARY

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Floating: Must have a willingness to float to other 2 campuses Medical Surgical/Telemetry and ICU Units if census drops in order to maintain hours.
• Must have a minimum of 1.5 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital.

PREFERRED

• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Charting: Epic is preferred but not required.

• Pay - up to $60/hour for a local candidate or up to $2857/week gross for a traveler (this includes a stipend).
