Full-Time (RN) Registered Nurse Infection Control Preventionist
Responsibilities of a (RN) Registered Nurse Infection Control Preventionist:
Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice.-
Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately. -
Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes. -
Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. -
Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.
Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
Qualifications of a (RN) Registered Nurse Infection Control Preventionist:
Wound care/infection preventionist experience preferred.
Experience preferred, not required.
License for a (RN) Registered Nurse Infection Control Preventionist:
Must have an Active (RN) Registered Nurse License in NJ.
