- Built strong relationships and influenced both up and down the organization.
- Developed and implemented comprehensive and effective employee benefits communication strategies and trainings; built & maintained content for employees and candidates; served as a subject matter expert and escalation point to employees, managers, and HR Representatives for compensation and benefits programs
- Demonstrated MISO core values
What we are looking for…
- Bachelor’s degree in, Human Resources, or related field, (or 9+ years relevant work experience equivalency, required)
- Five + years specific experience in compensation and benefits roles showing career progression and practical experience managing compensation, equity, and benefits programs
- Thorough knowledge of filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting compensation and benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Workers Compensation, Medicare, HIPAA, social security and DOL requirements.
- Proven track record of developing, managing, and evaluating various components of incentive plans along with budgeting and forecasting experience
- Demonstrated understanding of how to evaluate, design, implement, and administer self-funded health benefits, retirement plans, leaves of absence, accommodations, workers compensation, and wellness programs and understanding CIP requirements
- Prior supervisory experience and ability to coach and mentor employees
