• Partner with our Ops Managers as a trusted resource in building a great business
• Stay adaptable and flexible with a business that has changed ownership and is still laying the foundation for exciting future growth & a great work environment.
• Spend time on the plant floor & in the break room connecting with employees and building trust
• Conduct in-person interviews and be a part of the hiring process to ensure great hires
• Maintain employee records, including documenting any safety issues
• Maintain the Company Handbook
• Oversee payroll
• Support the professional development of employees – fostering a growth mindset
• Ensure all employees are up to date with required training and certifications
• Oversee benefits and make recommendations to the leadership team
• Schedule all employee events, picnics, and banquets

Our Ideal Human Resources Manager

• Experienced: College degree in a Human Resources-related field and/or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in the HR field preferred.
• Growth Minded: Encourage personal & professional development of the team and take an interest in their growth.
• Approachable: An individual with a warm, welcoming personality that makes employees feel cared for and valued with good listening skills.
• Detailed: Ensures all paperwork and certifications are up to date, oversees payroll, and manages various responsibilities.
• Computer Savvy: Can navigate Microsoft Office Products and use an HCRM. Understands payroll & timekeeping systems and Human Capital Management Systems.
