SUMMARY
We are seeking a (Human Resources) HR Generalist to join our team and implement various human resources programs.
HR Generalists have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR, people and culture and be familiar with labor law.
The role of HR Generalist is far from one-dimensional. Responsibilities include a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies. The HR Generalist will also act as the main point of contact for employees' queries on HR-related topics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate annual enrollments for Health, Dental, Vision & Flexible spending accounts in conjunction with the Hilb group.
- Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Process timesheets and payroll (ADP Payroll) and manage PTO reporting.
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
- Undertake tasks around performance management.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Follow company policies and procedures and support company mission, vision, values and standards of ethics.
- Serve on and help manage HR Committee
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by COO
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a minimum of 5 years Human Resources Experience
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees of the organization.
- Proficient with MS Office Suites, ADP Payroll, CRM programs or other similar software

TRAVEL
Minimal travel . Remote position with some requests to attend NC MedAssist events and meetings, in office from time to time.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in human resources.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in human resources management, or relevant field required. S/PHR or equivalent education preferred.
